Droid x freezing during audio playback

Hi,
Sense the froyo upgrade my droid x has been freezing up randomly during audio playback. Sometime its just for a second others it a minute and i have even had to pull the battery after the screen went black and the four buttons lite up. Also one time it locked up and after it unfroze it said all my music was not supported including the sounds from my games in library.
Anyone had issues like this before? should a get a new droid x?

:welcome: to the forum Elite22! Have you tried doing a factory reset? I've seen a few posts saying this fixed some issues.
