Droid X Data Question..

I have the $15 for 150mb of data plan and want to make sure i do not go over it. I will be using the internet mostly on my home wifi. How can i make sure that there are no 3G programs running in the backround (such as facebook updates) wasting my data. I know there are apps that tell you how much data is being used but i need one to make sure 3G data isnt being used when im not surfing the internet on wifi.

check the settings in all possible apps, especially anything having to do with networking.

you could also use airplane mode if you want to be absolutely sure you don't use data, but that cuts off phone calls as well.

get the my verizon app and keep track of your usage there.

try the app Juicedefender -battery saver.
You can disable 3g through advanced mode...and have lots of other cool settings. (like enable 3g for certain times)

Don't run any widgets have a plane ol DroidX. You will wish you had more data this phone is just to awesome not to use
