Is there a reason they won't work on the new GB. I've tried to put them on without any success.

Swyped with speed on X w/GB

Not sure... I'm on gb and they work fine.

Are you using Droid 2 or Droid X bootstrap recovery to put them on GB? Actually seeing as the Droid X one doesn't work never mind, I used the Droid 2 Bootstrap to get into recovery but then when I install zip from sd card, it then says

-- Installing: SDCARD: DarthDroid_LogoReplacer.zip
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
E:Can't open /sdcard/DarthDroid_LogoReplacer.zip (bad)
Installation Aborted.


I've tried it with a couple of different logos and the same thing keeps occurring, any ideas on how to fix it?

You can use DX bootstrap if you uncheck USB debugging in settings. Try that and if it still doesn't work, re-download the zip or try a different one.

No sweat... they don't take a lot of time... I probably spent 30 min on yours and it was only that long cause I did some editing on a couple of them. Besides, I don't like to decide which ones to do for you so if you give me a bunch, I just do them all

OK, the one you posted was really small and would not have looked good on the phone, so I hope you don't mind, but I went ahead and started from scratch (well, almost scratch) and made a larger one. I tried to match the colors pretty close, but if it doesn't look right to you, let me know.

Your welcome and thank you I saw some red ones while searching for a larger base image for this one, if you want one of them, I can do that too. I didn't use one for a base though, as they had jagged edges along the logo itself and the one you posted was cleaner so I found one that had clean edges on it. Thank you Google images! Lol

Yeah google images is how i got the origanal and then just renderd the color different with vinyette or something like that but here is a bigger image if that helps. not partial to blue just like the symbol. any way your awesome i am sure alot of people are greatfull

OK, here you go. Ideally, the base image should be at least 182 px high, as that is the size of the final logo, but I did the best I could on yours. If you have a larger image, I'd be happy to do a new one; this one might be a little fuzzy on the phone...

FYI, if you view the preview image with the tapatalk app, it will display exactly the same as during bootup.
