Droid X Custom Boot Logo I'll create

@BalistikBill, could you PM the update.zip template you made so I could just enter my own images in? Just tell me what size the image needs to be and where to put it. If you can I'd appreciate it, thanks.

Also, this is for anyone, is there way to replace the DROOOOOID sound when your phone shuts off/on with your own sound?

I think you can use any one of the boot logo zips to make your own. The original I've been using is a Michigan one. Been using it from the start. When you copy the logo.bin over to the zip in 7zip it just overwrite the prior image with yours.

Your image size has to be 480x182, 480 wide and 182 tall. When you go to edit it in Frhed, what ever your top left pixel is, is what will be your top and bottom color.

Just follow the step by step by Army Dude>>>http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-x-hacks/92469-step-step-diy-boot-m-logo-pics.html

Yes his logoreplacer.zip is a Michigan Wolverines logo. You can use any by just replacing the logo.bin file with your own 480x182 bitmap image.

I've attached a .zip file with 5 different images/logos I'd like to see if you can do anything with them. Let me know if you can't get my attachment, I'm still considered a noob to the site so I don't know if they'll allow me to add attachments without any issue. Thanks in advance, I like what you're doing here.

Wow scarmack! This thread was dying out not too long ago. Did you put out a memo or something? :)
