droid x build 2.2.1

just got my x from a friend and the build on it says 2.2.1 !! dont know much about the x yet but learning fast !! is this the stock build ? is it froyo ? any help gonna root soon and dont wanna screw it up with wrong pattern !

Yes this is stock Froyo. Before you load any Roms be sure to make a stock backup immediately after you root.
