Droid X and IPAD

I searched the forum and I cannot find any threads on the topic, has anyone successfully linked a Droid X to an IPAD via Bluetooth. I am having a heck of time getting them to talk. I want to be able to use PDANet on the Droid with IPAD.

I know folks have tethered a rooted Droid to their iPad.

Moving to the X section in hopes that other X members may read and reply.

that might be tricky u have to do a whole process to get bluetooth to work on a computer. just root it and use wireless tether. i tethered from my droid x to the ipad at the apple store to jailbreak their devices.
