Droid video is REALLY dark

My friend and I both have droids and both our video quality is REALLY dark, our other friends with blackberrys and other phones can be recording perfectly find videos but when there is anything less than a fully lit (bright) room my droid's videos are horrible. is there anyway to fix this? here's an example

though it's in a salsa club it was pretty bright, and my friend's blackberry was recording perfect quality videos

I can relate. Is there any insight to this or is this just the way it is with Droid and Video??

That looks a little to dark, did you play with the settings at all?
