I have the original Droid and wanted to know if I can somehow have something other than the pattern for my security option?

If there is a passcode option where can I find it?

If your android version has been updated to 2.2 then yes you can

Check your android version in settings/about phone/android version

Change to PIN or Password protected lockscreen settings/location and security/set up screen lock

If you are still on 2.1 then it can't be done
