Droid Razr Maxx HS update 9.18.79. HELP!

My Razr Maxx HD keeps asking me to update to 9.18.79

1. There are so many posts about the rebooting issues and others. Is that a rare issue?

Is there a patch AFTER that?

2. Is there a way to stop the phone from asking 3 times a day?

Yes, it's a very rare issue.
No patch after.
No way to stop it other then Rooting and ROM'ing.
