Droid Raxr keeps Restarting

So I couldn't wait for ICS and now that I have had it for a couple of months my phone is giving me a lot of trouble. Lately it becomes unresponsive and takes it what seems like five minutes to actually call someone. If I had an emergency it would not be good. Now it keeps restarting
Itself in the middle of doing things like texting or in the middle of whatever I am doing.
I tried clearing the cache but it started to do it again. What should i do?
Do i need to do a hard reset? If so, please explain the process. This has a mind of its own now...

I would start by getting a new simcard at your vzw store. If it continues..

Time to look at doing an fdr.. go into system settings, privacy, factory reset.

Now this is just me... but I've had to do 2 FDR's back to back... so anytime o
I do an fdr, I do two now.

I ran into a problem after doing one, where I had issues immediately, with the favorites pull down... and a few other features. Some say you only need to do one. But with the razr/maxx.. my experience has lead me to doing two in a row, back to back.

This is up to you... if you even wind up having to do one.

Odds are you will always have issues when running VZ-tampered stock Roms. Freeze the bloatware or go full custom if you want to save yourself the headaches.
