Droid Photo Gallery

I have the Droid Charge. I want to put some pictures in my Gallery but not sure how to do so. I sent myself the pics via email and when I download it, they go to my SD card. I dont see an option to move it into my Gallery. Please let me know if this i possible.

your gallery should populate with all of the pics that are available on your phone and sd card. open your gallery and let it load up everything, it may take some time but the pics should eventually show up

Nope, it doesnt populate. I found a way to move the pics from the SD to Gallery. You have to move them into DCIM - Gallery. I noticed the pics dont open up successfully on the SD or when I moved them into the gallery.

thats very strange, i was used to having files in my gallery that I didn't want there, never had them just not show up.

I ditched the gallery a while ago, I like quickpic so much better.
