Droid Incredible 2 - changing default address & calendar app

Hi, I've only had my Droid Incredible 2 for about 1-1/2 weeks and am working through the changes from my Blackberry. I have set up CompanionLink/DejaOffice so I can sync my Outlook contacts and calendar with the phone (knock on wood, it's worked so far). Even though DejaContacts is set up to ask about adding incoming calls to my phone to my contact list, what really comes up is the built in contacts list on the phone (which I would just as soon disable) - same with the calendar (I don't want to have the built in calendar running - I just want DejaCalendar to be my default (and only) calendar. I don't want to use google contacts or google calendar. One other thing - I do have a gmail account that I use for personal e-mail and it comes thru to the phone - I don't know if this is creates a problem with what I want to do or not.

Does anyone know if this can be done, and if so, how?

Thank you so much to anyone who can help me!

The Google calendar can't be uninstalled unless you root your phone. If you're not going to use it just remove the widget (if you have one set up) and leave it alone. Let it sit in the background. But make sure you go into your settings and uncheck everything for syncing up your google calendar and I believe that there are also settings to unlink your Gmail account from the calendar. There's no need to sync or link it if your not using it. My wife is now using my Incredible 2 so I don't have it in front of me but the sync is either in the phone menu---> settings --->accounts and sync or maybe in the settings of the calendar app itself. I don't remember. After that just use your other calendar.
