Droid Incredible 2 battery/charging issues.

Hello!

As of around 5 days ago my battery started dying at an increased rate. Last night it crapped out and stopped working for a bit. So I gave up and just put it on the charger. Well it charged fully over night and stayed alive for a day and a half! Well I here I am after that day and a half and it won't charge. When I try to turn it on all I get is a red flashing light. It won't charge at all. I've tried 3 different chargers. None have worked differently.

Any solutions?

Three suggestions. 1 use another dinc2 to charge your battery. 2 find an external battery charging stand and use that. 3 Try a new battery and see if you have the same issues. New batteries are not very expensive and a replacement charging port for the phone shouldn't cost more than $15 WITH shipping. I just replaced my sisters in about 30 minutes. Good luck!

Thanks for the response, I have an extended battery at the moment on its way. Hopefully that'll last me a month until my next phone.

I'm sorry for the late reply, but after looking into the issue after receiving it myself, I found out it is a design flaw with the Droid Incredible 2. I have no other solutions other than getting an entirely new phone. (if your phone is under warranty, this shouldn't cost you a dime.)

my htc droid incredible 2 discharges whenever i connect my charger, thus the percentage of the battery decreases whiles the charger is still connected to the phone. Please i need help

hmmm... it looks like this there might be some issues with the battery! I would say try one thing, remove your battery put it over the flat surface and try to spin it ! If the battery spins then its swollen and I guess the culprit is the battery, and I guess you know well what has to be done i.e. head over to the nearest store and purchase a new battery.
