Droid Forum file upload issue

I really do hate to start a thread about this, but I need some suggestions. Hope this is in the right section.

2nd I've downloaded 2 prior bootanimation.zip's at this link that were the same size or close. None exceeding the 9.54MB forum limit in attachment's and this new one being 8.41 to be exact. My newest one will not upload for the life of me. I have made it smaller and renamed it. I just can't figure it out.

I have asked this question in other peoples thread, but haven't crossed myself

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If it is simple, I assure you, I'll do my own kicking of the backside

Well after resizing again it went through. I had to go under 8MB's to do so.

So I still would like to know why the max is 9.5 but it wouldn't let 8.54 go through
