Droid does = Droid fails?

Now i do have quite the amount of rage built up over the past few weeks as my phone has become a paper weight when it comes to audio playback. It always has been a little buggy since the day i got it from my local bestbuy, this is the droid 2. I was content with the few problems it had, i've never had any other issues besides audio playback. Whether it be the player malfunctioning or whatnot. Now recently the last few weeks i have had some thoughts of taking the phone back regarding the issues it's been giving me.
It seems as if it has everything to do with the audio port. Anything plugged into that port will send my phone haywire. I have winamp, pandora and the stock music player. I'll be listening to a song and it will randomly start playing something off of my other player or pandora will start up going on all 3 at the same time. Then it will continue to speed skip through all my music. Ill try to stop it but the touch screen goes nuts. Until i unplug the device from the audio output. Now my phone is only 4 or so months old and i have never screwed with any internal parts of the output and its not a "loose jack" as if i move the plug around it does nothing. If anyone else has had this issue. PLEASE, let me know.
Thanks in advance.
