I came to this.

Authenticating...
Remembered, secured with WPA/WPA2 PSK...

Flips back and forth few times....

ended with:

Disabled, secured with WPA/WPA2 PSK

the password is correct and the proxy settings is off....... any solutions?

What kind and how old is your router? I ask 'cause I had the same thing happen to me with my old router. It'd connect most of the time, but it would sporadically not work sometimes and it would take forever to get them connected again, even though my laptop and tablets could connect without issue. When I called customer support for my router, they told me it was a pretty old one (like 4 years old or something) so I bought the same brand but newer on Amazon and hadn't had an issue since.

try disabling the security if possible just to see if you can connect. I've seen phones that have hardware issues that can't connect to WEP secure networks but unprotected worked fine. if you can connect without the password your phone might have a problem. can you connect to wifi elsewhere?

I can connect wifi elsewhere and it must because it an old router, but it works on my sister Tmobile smartphone my family's server is AT&T Universe so it quite new and I cant turn off the security because the password is printed on the tower

And Smokie it is a WEP server

I am having the same problem. My router is about 1 month old. This has become an issue the past couple of days. Previously I was able to power down the Bionic and restart and it would connect, now that doesn't work. Any suggestions?

That what Verizon told me to do and also "Forget" your wifi and power down then restart, still no luck.

Try rebooting your router. I had the same problem with my OG Droid. I ultimately had to do a firmware update on my router and it worked flawlessly after that.

I've read a few threads about Android devices no longer connecting to certain routers after being upgraded to Gingerbread. My Bionic, for example, cannot connect to a Microsoft MN-700 router, but does fine with most others. I'm not sure what can be done but get a new router...
