Droid Battery Problems

Hey guys,
I'm new to the forum and have tried to find if this has happened to someone else but haven't so if there is already a thread on this, if you could point me towards it and I am sorry for reposting. But last night I plugged my Droid in after returning from a night out while it was at 15 percent. I woke up this morning with it blinking red thinking something must have not been plugged in. However all the cords worked and it said charging at 5 percent only it won't go past 5. It also has the fully charged symbol and the battery in the top right isn't moving from red to green to yellow while charging like normal, it just stays at red. I've tried removing the battery and a different charger, none of which worked. Thanks for any ideas.

Can you mount it to your PC? If so you may have a bad battery. If you can't it could be a bad USB port on the phone. :(

Can you borrow a battery from anyone with a Droid?

At the moment I do not have access to any other droid batteries. But I did just mount it and think that it probably is a bad battery. It probably has something to do with my refurbished phone from Verizon. I am on my third one and every issue I have had has been charging/battery related. Thanks for your quick reply, I guess I'll be onto phone number 4.

So, what you are saying is you have had 3 phones from Verizon that were all bad???? It has nothing to do with the refurbed phones, and everything to do with the fact that you put your bad battery in everyone of those phones. My guess is that the first refurb would have probably been fine if you didnt have a bad battery. But of course, as always, it is Verizon's fault.
