Seems odd to me to assume that all chargers from a given country are the same...

I'd suggest being careful as poorly designed chargers have been known to cause problems with the capacitive screen.

It's hit and miss with cheap ebay chargers. I bought one that works great and another that never worked from day one. The one that didn't work cost me less then $3 and was not worth the postage to return. Sorry, can't remember who I purchased them from. I can tell you the good one was listed as an oem.

Ive been keeping my eye on one on amazon. Its a micro usb charger, battery only. I have a spare battery now, and am looking for something to charge it with.
It was similar to this one:

But it was less than $10.
