I wanted to share this, my 17 year old daughter is starting senior year and she wants a droid, we made a deal, she will get the droid x but she has to maintain at least a 3.5 gpa, or she will comeback with a crappy phone, the sad thing is that now she will have a better phone than me, I have the motorola droid, but she is very exited about our deal

That's a great deal I'd make her do some chores to earn the cost of an early termination fee for you to hold until she proves herself or you'll still be stuck paying the $30.00 per month data fee. She'll be happy to get that back at the end of the year if all goes well
