Droid 2 Update from 2.3.20 to 3.0.0

I have been reading this morning and came across the Droid 2 blur 3.0 over at this link.

I started to download it but I saw something about it being for the 2.2 and I am running 2.3. One person asked if it would work, but received no answer. I went over to xda and found this link about it and it says it does work and many people with 2.3 are using it. Here is that link.

I am curious if anyone on this forum has tried this and would like to hear your comments and feedback about it.

I see lots of people confusing a firmware update with an android os update. Motoblur on the Droid 2 is currently at version 2.3.0. Your android version is 2.2. And motoblur is being updated to version 3.0. That is all. And I believe hookbill has tried it out.
