Droid 2 shuts OFF when i try to text...

did it 7 times yesterday, and a few times today but when i start to text someone my phone will just shut OFF... no warnings nothing... just started this yesterday. and no new apps or even app updates. I have it rooted and an extended life battery.

Please help this is really annoying... It only turns off when i text. I played a game at the doctors for 45 min and it ran perfectly got home to text a friend and shut off... wtf.

which system version? 4.5.621?

could be a bad app
could try running it in Safe Mode - Motorola DROID 2
or trying a data wipe

could be a bad battery even if it reads full charge

I think its fixed now... Another forum member told me to clear the messenger app(s) cache

So far so good
