Droid 2 running like a slug after the update to 2.3.3

Hey guys, I need help! My phone just did the auto update this morning to the 2.3.3. Now my phone is running slower than christmas!! I love my phone and have never had problems before...I have tried to reboot about 5 times and nothing is helping. Any ideas??

I also lost my root when it did the update, and can not get it back...
