Droid 2 Powering Issue

My Droid 2 was at about 50% around noon today so i plugged it into the wall charger and the phone acted like nothing was plugged in (the led light didnt come on and when i plugged the charger in the phone usually says charging but this time it said 50%). So i decided to change outlets still same problem, then i changed chargers (from my droid 1) and still same problem nothing happened. I decided to plug the phone into my computer and only time the led light came on was when the phone was off. My phone is off now and with the phone plugged in it wont turn on. I unplug the phone and the phone wont turn on. I assume the battery is dead but the phone wont charge.
