Droid 2 Incomplete Gtalk List

My buddy list on the Gtalk app on my Droid 2 only displays about 2/3rds of who's online. I've noticed that it generally omits people with whom I chat infrequently. It's not a huge inconvenience, especially since once I start chatting with someone on my computer they tend to show up on my phone's Gtalk list eventually, but it'd be nice to know if there's a quick fix.
