Droid 2 Global wont connect to 3g

Sorry if this sounds nooby, but my Droid 2 Global wont connect to 3g anywhere i go. i have had it for around a month now and it worked fine up until now. I turned it on and it wouldnt connect. It also just shuts off randomly when its not even in use. Please help.

Open Settings > Data Manager and make sure data is on.

Thanks for the reply but I checked and it was already on. Any more suggestions?

All the boxes are checked? If so, try toggling them and see if that helps. Other than that or reactivating (*228), I'm out of ideas.
