I've had a droid 2 global for about a year now, and its been rooted from the very beginning. I recently got tired of the stock rom though, and decided to flash cyanogenmod. I used Rom Manager to download cyanogenmod, yes im still on froyo, and then i used Koush's Droid 2 Recovery Bootstrapper to boot into clockworkmod recovery. I backed everything up, factory reset, erased my cache, and proceeded to install cyanogenmod. Everything went smoothly until the actual installation began. The phone freezes at "replacing stock recovery with clockworkmod recovery.
All that I can think could be wrong is that when I used rom manager to download cm, I also downloaded clockworkmod through rom manager for the droid 2, not the droid 2 global, because I was using the droid 2 bootstrapper.
