droid 2 flash for the camera

with the camera on (you can see the square in the center of the screen, which is the camera's focus area) swipe your finger along the edge of the screen closest to the soft buttons. A soft menu will come up, showing Scenes, Effects, Flash, and Switch to (video). Touch Flash, and you'll get the choice of flash off, auto, or on.

The flash isn't very powerful, and its color balance is way too cool for many subjects. But (if you aren't too criritcal) you can recover a lot by using the camera's built-in Edit function and boosting Saturation, changing Brightness and/or Color. Personally, I much prefer to keep the camera at ISO 100 or 200, shoot in good light, and then take any "keeper" images into PhotoShop and edit them there.
