Droid 2 doesn't vibrate

When I turn the phone to vibrate mode it vibrates to let me know it's been set to do so, but then when I receive a text message it doesn't vibrate to notify me of the text. It vibrates when I receive calls though. I've set it to always vibrate regardless of the volume, but it still doesn't.

Fixed it!

I found a thread like mine and someone had replied with the solution! For anyone that might read this needing the same help: go to your text message inbox> menu(the 4 squares)> vibrate> check the box.
