Droid 2 custom wallpaper. help

Ok so lets say i took a pic with my camera (not on my phone.) I want that picture as my background on my D2. How can I do it can you please explain if it is possible. Also if somebody has the same problem can you please say it, because I just think its me thats having this problem.

Put the pic on your computer then transfer it to your phone and you can set it as your wallpaper in the gallery
