So I downloaded the Droid 2 Bootstrapper from the market so I could have a recovery tool on the new Droid X GB leak. Does anyone know how I can get the .apk off the phone's internal storage? I know I could always just re-download the app from the market whenever I want, but I'd like to keep a hard copy on my sd card if it's possible.

Just download titanium back up and it will back the apk up for you to be and to load it on other Roms. If you want the actuall apk it would be in the backup folder on your SD card.

Np. It easier than getting a file manager like Root Explorer and going into System/apps. And it's safer.

Good luck with all the new leaks out for D2 and DX. I'm still on OG Droid waiting for Bionic:)

Actually its pretty easy to pull it using root explorer from data/apps. Root explorer is a must have root app IMO. Or use super manager, its free but less user friendly
