Droid 2 and Mac computers

I am a Mac user with a Droid 2. I can't figure out how to format my SD card so that I can post photos between my phone and computer. I read somewhere that it should be set to USB Mass Storage, but I don't even see such a thing. Can anyone tell me what is the best way to marry a Droid to a Mac?

When you plug your phone into the Mac the Droid will give you a USB notification. Pull down the notification, tap on the USB notification, and choose USB Mass Storage. The Phone will show up as a USB drive on the Mac.

Not a free solution, but I use Missing Sync. It offers configurable syncing for both USB and wireless modes. If you use it do your first sync and all syncs with lots of music or pictures on the USB cable. After that it is convenient to set up automatic synchronization over your local wireless for your contacts, calendar, etc.

There are other solutions, but I haven't used or researched them.
