Droid, 2.1, tethering issues?

I have been successfully tethering using Tether, and the last few days, whenever I try to download any kind of file (surfing is fine, though), it downloads just a random small amount.... then quits recieving. I have to restart tehter on both my PC and the Droid to be able to surf again. And, I can surf without isse until I try downloading a file again.

Any help is appreciated.

No help on fixing your issue, but Pdanet has never done that to me

FIXED!!!! Forgot I had a download of Chrome on a DVD along with some other stuff. Apparently, I have an IE8 issue.
