downloading music/ringtones

Hi, I've only had my phone for a week. I'm loving it! However, I am frustrated because I'm having difficulties downloading music. I have tried both Media Windows 2010 & Itunes.
I have googled several topics on how to do this.
When I plug in my usb port I do not get the option to mount my phone....
What do I need to do?
thanks so much!
Beth

Plug in your USB cable, wait for the goofy trill noise and drag down the menu.

Tap 'USB connection' then choose 'USB Mass Storage'.

Now you can drag and drop music to your phone. I created an "Amazonmp3" directory on the SD card and dumped all my music there.
I'm sure you could use 'my music' or 'audio'.

The only problem I have with iTunes is DRM protection on half of my music. When dragging and dropping look for a small square on each
file icon, if it has the little square it won't play on your Droid.

To make a file to you SD card:

On the Autoplay window. Click in the general options where it says, "Open folder to view files." then after that just right click in the window and select "Add new folder." Rename it, "Music"

To add music to your file:

Open your music folder and click and hold and drag in to the folder you labeled "Music." then you should be about to find your music in the music player.

Hope this helps you. :)
