double txt usage??

Is there a way to stop the original droid txt app from appearing as a choice to use? I prefer to use handsent only. The other service stores my old txt even though I did'nt use that app. How can I stop double storage of my txt?

Theres a empty check box at the bottom of the box that prompts you to select default messenging of handcent, check that box then click on Handcent next time.

That sets Handcent to be the default txt app, But the stock app will still store all txt's...
