Dont walk RUN to get Pro Zoom 5x camera

Well i took bunch of pics with stock,camera magic,pro zoom
and I must say they are all real damn close on quality
for speed- stock camera has improved alot after update about 3-4 sec till ready again
camera magic is the fastest!!! about a sec
pro zoom is quick as well but you have to hit save so depends on how quick you are i guess there.
i will upload in min but here is some findings of mine
photo sizes, all 3 on super fine w/flash auto focus at 2048x1536
file size,
stock-710kb
camera magic-1.51mb
pro zoom-263kb
now in my exp, the larger file size always meant better quality-more pixels etc
and I must say they are all real damn close on quality

the flash 100% works with this.
I have been using the free version of pro paint camera. The flash works with this one. If I remember it did not work when I tried camera magic. I have been debating whether to buy the 5x version of pro paint. In all auto mode I think is little faster in getting the job done than the stock app.

ok here are my samples, all with auto focus,auto flash, largest quality settings. untouched not resized just taken from droid to pc and uploaded. snake pics are indoor (of course) with a standard light bulb near and dog pics are outside, cloudy day here as well so sunshine pics might be better as well

yes flash works with camera magic and this pro flash
I do like the features of pro zoom after taking pic so I will keep it im sure
but as for speed of start to finish,,,, camera magic is by far the fastest to get you right back to taking another pic.... you hit button it auto focus/flashes bam pic taken and sec later its back to ready for another.
plus its free so thats always nice.

I cant tell a difference, but I like your pics
I do like the zoom button on the pro and some of the other options.
Dont mean to break off topic here but can you upload pics straight from your droid to this website? How do I host the pics?
thanks, i think the stock are a smidge darker, and camera magic seem little clearer/sharper in my opinion
another thing i noticed is the preview camera screen sizes
stock is good, pro zoom seems small (abotu 2/3 of screen)
but camera magic uses the whole screen which is really nice
its zoom is a simple slider on screen as well
(damn guys they should be paying me for free advertising, if they charged for app) LOL
anyway just my 2 cents trying to help other Droid owners out here and in mood to play with camera stuff today....
Im not sure, havent tried to upload from droid yet, just been tranfering to laptop since its easy to do.

I like 5x pro interface the best. I found the few quick shots I took now with Camera Magic didnt come out clear as opposed to Pro.

Stock Camera + PhotoShop = All's well for 'ol Mega.

So I tried Camera Magic and PRO Zoom Camera 5X after reading this thread. After taking quite a few pictures with each, here is what I found:
Simple really - PRO Zoom Camera rocks for my Droid - a great way to spend my hard earned $1.99.....:motdroidhoriz: :motdroidhoriz: :motdroidhoriz:
- PRO Zoom Camera's user interface is great, much more polished than Camera Magic. Quick and easy
- Camera Magic starts up a bit faster, but not by much and it force closes alot though - buggy.
- PRO Zoom gave me much better control over my pictures than Magic. I could change whitebalance, Scene mode, effects and flash on my Droid with PRO Zoom Camera. Can't with Camera Magic
- I LOVE the use of the volume buttons to take a picture and zooming with the trackball with PRO Zoom Camera. Soooooo convenient. Not in Camera Magic. In fact it didn't even let me preview the zoom!
- Finally the post processing features of PRO Zoom are simply awesome. I can adjust brightness, contrast, add star bursts, clipart, text and even turn the pic into a damn Comic book picture! Boo yah!

Trackball function with Pro Zoom
I downloaded Pro Zoom. I do like the zoom and other features. At first blush I think photo quality is on a par with stock but haven't done a rigorous comparison. Otherwise it appears to be a definite improvement over stock and for a measley two bucks. For some reason though I cannot seem to get the track ball function to work. Any suggestions?
