Hi! I'm a fairly new 'Droid user, and I have a question.
I notice that my battery runs down pretty quickly, unless I turn off all the radios and disable 'auto sync'. When run like this, the battery is fine, better than a day, although I charge it every night. From what I've learned iPhones are pretty much the same way.
So I manually sync with my Google account when I'm home and on the WiFi.
On occasion, Contacts or Calendar sync fails. I usually notice this several days later when I notice that changes I've made on Google don't show up in the 'Droid.
Usually this means that I have to go into that apps' storage, clear the data, and initiate a sync. That usually clear it up for me.
Is there an app someplace that can throw up an alert when a sync is unsuccessful for a period of time, say a day or two? That way I'll know when I'm missing updates, and that I have to clear and re-download.
Thanks in advance.
Erik.
