Does Verizon still give a discount for resigning after 1 year?

If you have a plan that's 79.99 or higher before discounts you can upgrade the primary line on your account after 12 months and get the 2 year purchase price on the phones. All other lines must wait a minimum of 18 months.

Not exactly......;)

If you call customer service and say that you're not happy with your current phone, and it may take more then one call, they will work with you. At a discounted price but not the best discount they have. I did it after 12 months with the Blackberry Storm. So it can be done. If you know how to stomp your feet, cry and make a big scene.:icon_ banana::icon_ banana:

Thanks guys. Wife has my old BB Tour and just hates it. Not sure if she will get a Droid or not, but definitely not another BB. I am actually thinking of waiting until the Nexus one makes it here and go for that. I actually may consider using it and letting her have the Droid since I never use my Droid's physical board. I just love my Droid so much that I am not sure.

Hardly. 2 phone calls and an extra days wait. That was all it took for me.

I can be extremely persuasive. ;)
