Docking Station New Screen

When you put your phone running 2.1 into the dock what do you see? I am not sure if mine updated correctly.

I still get the lights staying on all night and nothing else has changed from the APK I was running before.

What does yours look like?

Well I looked at my backup APK's and I'm definitely running the 2.1 advanced version of the Clock that runs when your in docking mode - except that it's the version that was pulled off the nexus I think.

I uninstalled it and was back to old and ugly.

Is there a different one that was installed with the update that I missed out on?

I'm curious as to what the new look is and if what I'm using is the old look.

I can press mine and dim it very well, then it goes to a green clock that moves around.

Is that how it still works or is there a newer version?

That is the newest version.

Cool thanks. Because when I uninstall it, it's back to the ugly version. I guess I should have removed some APK's before the update.

The only real difference I noticed in the new Dock mode is the brightness toggle and the home button were swapped.

i dont know why you guys dont like the old dock. i think its much better looking than the new one

The screen dimmer on the new dock app actually dims the backlight, instead of just making the background image darker. It works a lot better than the old one. Once 2.1 is rooted, you can download the LED's hack to have your LED's turn off automatically once the phone is docked.

The new dock is 100 times better looking than the ugly old one... looks like it has etched glass at the bottom - dims screen better etc...

Running stock 2.1 (not rooted) can we use the alternate dock? If so, have they fixed the issue with the temperature so it shows in Fahrenheit?

Does it link to the right gallery and music app?

My Droid's led's stay on all night on the dock so can't leave it on! Do you or anyone know where the led hack is? I've searched the forums and only get the led hack for the battery notifications.
