Do I need a replacement battery, or replacement Bionic?

Got my Bionic back in October. I had some issues, but figured I'd wait it out till the update. Well, update came and made all my problems worse.

I still have issues with my Bionic locking up requiring a battery pull.

I still have issues with losing 3G/4G COMM requiring a shutdown/reboot. I also have a NEW issue where the 3G or 4G will show white and not really work for a few minutes.

Some days I'll get a great 25hrs of battery life (I'm not a heavy user). Other days, I'll get 12hrs of battery before it needs a charge. I don't use ANY social networking apps.
I use Titatnium Backup and freeze the bloatware.

Since I've rooted, I don't want to exchange the phone unless I absolutely have to. Has anyone found a way to root after the update?
