Do all sent pics always do slideshow?

I notice everytime I send a pic it does the silly slideshow deal. That has to be annoying for the pic to only show for a few seconds. Is there a way to just send a pic without slideshow?

Absolutely go sms. It has an attachment box right where you type. I send pics and other files with ease. Plus the UI is nice. It also has a facebook plug in and custom themes. My favorite sms/mms client
