Any idea when dj05 will actually start to be pushed to our handsets? I can live without 2.2 if they fix my gps issues and signal quality issues

well the reason why i got this phone was i got tired of constantly rooting and unroot and etc... but maybe i might >< cause this signal thing is annoying...=[

Where can i find the directions?

Browse around the Fascinate section of xda. That's where I started. I rooted, removed bloatware then used rom manager to flash the stock deox version of dj05. Sorry I can't give better directions I'm not on my computer with all my bookmarks handy

I guess I'm a moron because I have not been able to successfully flash dj05 even following specific instructions. I am rooted w oclf installed. I guess I need a one click dj05 update...all the ones I've tried so far fail every single time.

It looks like there's something called Odin which is very finicky. Not even sure what it is yet, will need to research it.

Depending on the ROM you use, you dont need a kernel.
You have to flash CWM recovery via Odin. Hang on, I'm about to hook you up...

So DJ05 is basically a ROM right? I already have flashed it and it seems to work. GPS is still hit and miss but better; signal seems to be more accurate. I did flash the Radio via Odin and also wiped the cache and installed the DJ05.zip ---

my question remains. What exactly is this? An actual ROM? What is it based off of? Is it a stock ROM with some DJ05 modifications? Or what?

My phone basically appears "debloated", I think I installed the Clean version from the IRC.
