I can't get any of the apps that do this for Motorola phones to work. I tried Minimalistic Text Widget, which I usually use anyway, and Circle Battery Widget. Neither of them showed battery percentages in increments of 1. Is there anything I missed about compatibility with the D1?

Motorola phones measure in 10% increments instead of 1. Nothing you can do about it.

Circle Battery Widgets been working on my X for over a week now...
However, I'm not sure this is going to Help the OP on his D1.

i don't know how it works on that app, but just try adding 1% increments to the status bar battery and watch the numbers bounce around like crazy.
