Anyone think it will eventually go out? My buddies Iphone4 Power/Sleep button just quit on him, but the thing about the TB is the sleep button is the only dedicated button to turning on and off the display right? We dont have the center home button like iphone do that also initiate the phone wake up. It's only the top button correct?

Who else presses that thing about 50 times a day?? Anyone think it will quit.

I had my OG Droid from day one, a total of about 16 months. It had the same sort of button, used a million times a day, and it lasted just fine. I never let my screen time out; I always turn it off.

I also had my d1 since launch day and while it never actually stopped working, it did lose nearly all of its clicky feel and sunk almost flush with the housing. It still worked just fine, you just couldn't actually feel if you were pressing it or not. It did bother me for a while but since it didn't actually have any impact on usability, I got over it. Hopefully the button on the tb holds up a little better...

* disclaimer* I am notoriously hard on phones so you're mileage may vary...

If you use No Lock then the volume buttons also become wake up the phone buttons. No Lock takes away the step of swiping the screen to get rid of the lock screen. More efficient.

Although I'll have to say that because the volume buttons are in the worst possible place on the TB I find myself hitting them when I don't want to. Whether the phone is on and I am using it, or asleep and I am just moving it around.
