Hi everyone I have a Samsung galaxy s4 i9505, yesterday my phone ran out of charge so I attached my charger and left it a while and tried turning it on but it just vibrates as if its about to boot up but I'm only left with a black screen. I tried it again today and managed to get it to boot up, it installed an update and rebooted but same problem its back to square one black screen and just vibrates when I try turning it on. Any help would be great, thank you.

Are you using the factory supplied AC charger? I would remove the battery for a few seconds, then put it back in the phone. Then plug it into the AC charger & leave it alone for about an hour. After that hour, try to turn it on again.

Welcome to the forum Gaz

The previous suggestions were very good. If they don't work try plugging the phone into a running PC for a few hours and don't mess with it.

Then plug it into the chareger again for at least an hour.
