Disable Droid X text messages over bluetooth

I run my phone calls and music through my cars bluetooth system (it's a myGIG system from Chrysler)

Anyway everything work great except for one thing. Whenever I am listening to my tunes and someone text messages me the car says:

"Incoming text message from X. Press this button to do this, press this button to do that then do this blah blah blah"

It says the same thing every friggin time I get a text. So annoying...

Is there any way to disable the text messaging portion from the bluetooth connecting without disabling the music and phone?

I am dying to find a solution to this problem... I get text messages every five minutes so you can imagine how frustrating this is.

Hit your Uconnect button (phone) in the car and say "Set up", then you get a bunch of options. One is something like "SMS messaging notifications" say that and then say "off"
