Direct Email shortcut?

Is it possible to do such a thing? i use the direct message and direct call, but would also like one for email.

I could be wrong, but I think the OP was looking for a way to add a shortcut to open a compose email to a specific contact, based on the examples of direct call and direct message.

I haven't seen a way to do this, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone has come up with a way. Gotta love Android, someone always seems to figure it out.

you can use an app called speed dial to set up direct email like you have direct dial and direct sms...hope this helps
