DInc2 mail app failed

Gentlefolk;

I have seen other posts on this, just adding my own experience with the default Mail app failing.

All was well until one day the email mssgs on my AOL and Gmail accts stopped appearing. All I had was a white screen beneath the Compose icon..

Local Verizon reseller had no info...turned off Premium Texting option, did no good.

Called Verizon tech supprt today and they had me pull the battery and SD card. No luck. Finally the second tier tech suggested the app K-9 as an email replacement. He sd looking in the HTC tech logs, this appears to be a known problem and they are working on a fix.

So far, K-9 appears to be working.

Yep, see my post: HTC mail app is broken! I use POP email had same thing. However, may be fixed in HTCs latest inc 2 update. Been using MailDroid now for awhile with only marginal ailments.

Mail App doesn't work on mine for Froyo or Gingerbread.

No matter since Gmail app works no problem. I already have my gmail account act as the clearinghouse for my other email accounts anyway.

I get some sort of "Toke" error FWIW.
