I am just now getting adb to work on the mac using simple "pc like" commands (http://www.droidforums.net/forum/android-hacks-help/11770-adb-mac.html) and ([GUIDE] Set up ADB and Fastboot on a Mac easily (With Screenshots!) - xda-developers) now wanting to give this a try.
