Desktop icons lagey return

Hello, any thoughts on why it seem to take FOREVER for my shortcuts to pop back up on my phones "desktop" when I home button out of an app or browser? Its very anoying

i'm having the same problem and im on my third replacement DROID and sometimes it takes 30 to 45 seconds for things to show up (also i'm running 2.2.1)

AWSOME ^ I uninstalled advanced task killer. PROBLEM SOLVED. It was the autokill feature

I might have to do some reading on the redraw threads because a couple of days after bragging about fixing it here the problem is coming back.

I've found the same thing.
One thing I do to help is make sure any apps that are on my home screens and docks are on the phone and not the sd. Still get slow redraws, but not as bad, not as often.

After troubleshooting a bit verizon rep popped in a brand new SD card and the problem went away

Wouldn't doubt it. I hear the sandisk cards arent the best.

Mine still does it. Not as bad or often. Iam using ATK froyo now but iam thinking of uninstalling it.

My pics often take FOREVER to pop up in my gallery. A lot of times they just won't unless I go in and out of it a few times
