Desk docking station (non HD)

So I just got my desk dock for my Bionic, via the accessory bundle from Costco. The dock for the OG Droid was nice and weighted(maybe twice as heavy as the phone). This dock is maybe half the weight of the phone, making it not not as stable. Is this just a cheap free dock they debug me or has motorola just gotten cheap?

I wouldn't know the quality of the item because I never purchased one, but weight shouldn't equate to quality. Though I understand why it could be frustrating for you. Is there a way you can pop it open and fill it with lead?

Yea the standard dock is kind of light. I still like it though.

Yea I'll probably end up drilling some small holes and filling the stand with lead or some other dense material

Yeah! You should totally fill it with lead and short out the internal circuitry! Why don't you just just put some 3M double sided tape underneath the dock. That'll make it really stable.
